Susan has been a trial attorney in Ohio since 2003 and Indiana since 2004. She leads her clients through the litigation process from start to finish, including pre-suit activity, discovery disputes, negotiations, mediations, trials, and appeals. She has successfully served companies such as State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, State Farm Fire & Casualty Company, Cincinnati Insurance Company, and National Chiropractic Mutual Insurance Company. She has represented clients with personal injury claims, property disputes, defamation claims, medical issues, and unique factual situations. Susan often utilizes her strong writing background in preparing motions, briefs, and appeals on behalf of her clients. Ms. Salyer has argued in front of various appellate courts and the Ohio Supreme Court.
Susan is from Portsmouth, Ohio, where she clerked for the firm Ruggiero & Haas for a number of years. As a result of that experience, her goal upon entering law school was to work in a small firm that focused on litigation defense. She found her home at Patsfall, Yeager & Pflum LLC and has worked for the firm since she started as a clerk in 2001. She and her husband live in Loveland with their two children and many pets.
