EXPERIENCE

Mr. Patsfall has been a trial attorney since 1981 in the Greater Cincinnati area, successfully representing national insurance companies and their insureds throughout the litigation process, including negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, trials and appeals. Among his clients have been State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, State Farm Fire and Casualty Company, Fireman’s Fund, Cincinnati Insurance Company, Travelers and Grange. Mr. Patsfall’s practice focuses on personal injury and wrongful death cases often involving complex medical and evidentiary issues. He also defends contractors and subcontractors on defective claims, and property owners on premises liability claims. Mr. Patsfall also has defended clients in major class action litigation in federal court. Finally, Mr. Patsfall has defended newspapers in libel, slander and first amendment actions. He has been selected in Ohio Super Lawyer every year since 2010 and was elected to membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) in 2011.

 

ASSOCIATIONS & COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Mr. Patsfall is actively involved in the community. He is a former member of the Leukemia Society Team in Training, through which he ran the New York Marathon and raised charitable donations for leukemia research. He has served on the Board of Trustees for the Mathis Foundation for Children, which provided education and support for children at risk, and on the Board of Trustees of BMF Pediatric, which provides medical care for the children of low income families.
