Mr. Pflum is current trial counsel for, among other companies, State Farm Mutual Automobile and State Farm Fire & Casualty Insurance Companies. His current practice involves handling complex accident and injury cases, unique medical issues and insurance coverage disputes. He has also worked closely with the Special Investigations Units of insurance carriers. Additionally, he has represented, healthcare providers in defense of malpractice claims. He is a frequent lecturer and presenter regarding Alternative Dispute Resolution, as well as medical and chiropractic issues relating to the defense of personal injury claims.

Mr. Pflum has two children. He is an active member in the Our Lady of Visitation parish where he has coached baseball, basketball, lacrosse and soccer teams.
Mr. Pflum is originally from Fort Wright, Kentucky, and is a 1982 graduate of Covington Catholic High School. In 1994, he was honored as the first player to be inducted into the Northern Kentucky High School Soccer Hall of Fame.
